About Us
CamelBackyard is an urban farm and community food hub located in central Phoenix. We offer raised garden beds, agricultural farm plots, and an Aquaponics greenhouse for farmers in the community. We are one of two sites managed by the New Roots program. New Roots Phoenix is a project of the International Rescue Committee (IRC) Phoenix, an international aid organization that helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover, and gain control of their future. At New Roots, we utilize agriculture and community to empower those enrolled in our programs to make connections to the land, food and people in Arizona. Learn more about our farm sites
Weekly CSA
We support refugee, immigrant and local farmers though our CSA produce boxes. Each box is priced at $20. We believe everyone should have affordable, fresh, locally grown produce!
